Webcast: STRATEGIC SOURCING: Which path are you on? (and how to get on the right one)
In August 2007, more than 350 procurement professionals who participate directly in enterprise-level strategic sourcing activities for their companies took part in an in-depth Purchasing® magazine study that set out to define the specific business practices and processes that best position a strategic procurement organization to deliver long-term, sustainable corporate performance improvements.
Objectives of the study were to measure—
- How much value professional sourcing and procurement management organizations add – on average – to overall corporate performance
- Which processes and practices are associated with the greatest total-value creation over time, and
- Which processes and practices are being underutilized—and why
We’ve now finished analyzing the results and will unveil the findings in a special executive WEBCAST on January 9, 2008, starting at 2 PM US-EST/11 AM US-PST.
